Accommodation Establishment Scholarship

 

$1000 Accommodation Establishment Scholarship

The Accommodation Establishment Scholarship for International Students is designed to support international students moving to Sydney or Melbourne, Australia, and is limited to eligible students. The accommodation scholarship has a value of AUD $1,000 per student and is offered to students who accept their offer for session 1, 2025.

 

Eligibility

To qualify for this scholarship, you must:

Checklist

  • be a new student starting your studies in session 30 (S1), 2025, at our Sydney or Melbourne campus
  • be enrolled in a full-time bachelor’s or master’s degree
  • enrol and remain enrolled past the census date of your second session of study at our Sydney or Melbourne campus.


Guidelines

  • Payment of the $1000 scholarship will be made to your student account following the census date of your second session of enrolment.
  • The Scholarship is not transferable to another person and cannot be deferred until a later intake date.
  • You must remain enrolled in on-campus mode, with a full-time load.
  • Charles Sturt University’s decision about the awarding of scholarships is final and no appeal will be entered.

 

Terms and Conditions

By accepting the scholarship offer you agree to:

  • fulfil all requirements as set out in these guidelines
  • consent to Charles Sturt University accessing your student records for the purposes of assessing and administering the scholarship
  • provide information and participate in surveys for promotional purposes and review of this scholarship
  • accept the terms and conditions of this scholarship

Charles Sturt University reserves the right to undertake audits of individual student’s records to ensure adherence to these guidelines.

 

Policy

Charles Sturt University will treat any information provided by the applicant within the terms of relevant privacy legislation. See Charles Sturt’s privacy policy for further information.

Due to privacy laws, any discussion of a scholarship application or recipient will only take place with the scholarship applicant/recipient.

The information collected will be used by authorised University staff to assess eligibility and administer the scholarship program. The information may also be used for assessment purposes for other scholarships, scholarships and equity programs across the University. Recipient names and email addresses may be made available to departments within the University for marketing and research purposes. No details will be used externally for any reason without the recipient’s consent. Students should be aware that they provide information of their own free will.

Personal and health information provided by the applicant will not be made available to any person within the University or external organisation for any other purpose without the applicant’s consent, except where it may be a legal requirement of the University to provide information.
